The trek to Kasprowy Wierch (1987 m a.s.l.) is among the most popular walks in the area, but also the trek up the Giewont (1987 m a.s.l.). From the peak there is a nice wiev over Zakopane. Also a much longer walk to Morskie Oko, the largest
lake in the Tatra moutains is a 'must' to many visitors.
Kuznice is the main gate to the Tatra mountains and here you can
set off for one of many possible routes. The trails are all well marked. In Kuznice, Polands only aerial ropeway,
brings you 900 m up to Kasprowy Wierch right at the border
to Slovak Republic
You can of course walk the way to Kuznice from the centre of the town which takes about 30 min, or you can go very easily both using public transportation
as well as numerous private minibuses or taxis.

One walk to Kondracki and Kasprowy Wierch. Kondracki in 1863 m above sea level can be a little challenge. From Kondracki you can go either west towards Kopa Kondracka (2005 m a.s.l.) and further on or walk east on the top of the ridge to Kasprowy Wierch and then back down to Zakopane.
Second walk from Kasprowy Wierch via Liliowe (1952 m .a.s.l.) and mountain hut Murowaniec back to Kuznice. A 3-3½ hour walk. You can dine in the Murowaniec.
The Circular walk A short circularwalk from Kuznice to Na Kalatowkach then westwards to Dolina Bialego and then northwards back to Kuznice/Zakopane. A nice easy walk in the lower altitudes, a walk mostly in the wood.
