Leave the beaten track and get to know another Crete. These walks presented here are on the western part of the islands, mainly on the less visited and to many tourists unfriendly southcoast. Walking the dramatic gorges or a highmountain walk in Lefki Ori "The White Mountains". When to go? Spring and autumn. It's too hot in the summer. April and may. The early may is perfect when it comes to walks. Still not too hot and the island is in full bloom. Also september and october. |
